Accountant - Economist
Functions:
- Collect, interpret, review, and analyze financial data from operational reports.
- Perform accurate and timely postings in 1C accounting software
- Review, monitor, and manage settlements on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Act as a part of the 4-eyes control process to ensure proper internal checks and balances.
- Prepare financial reports, including those related to budgets, client payments, expenses, and other key metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for external stakeholders such as regulatory authorities and auditors.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with internal accounting policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Actively participate in the development and maintenance of the accounting policy for APS, in line with the standards of regulatory bodies (AIFC, NBRK).
- Provide ad-hoc support to the CFO on financial and accounting-related matters as needed.
Required Education and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Advanced qualifications such as a Master’s degree, CPA, ACCA, or CFA are considered a strong advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and financial analysis.
- Experience working with IFRS and/or within international companies is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining a standard set of financial reports.
- Good understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly AIFC and NBRK, is a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience with 1C is essential.
Language Requirements:
- English: Intermediate level minimum; advanced proficiency preferred (spoken and written).
