Senior Financial Manager
Functions:
- Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information.
- Set up and automate the reconciliation process between balances and cash flow.
- Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
- Preparation of financial reports related to budgets, client payments, expenses etc.
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets.
- Automation of budgeting process and budget control.
- Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Active involvement in preparation of the accounting policy of APS in accordance with requirements of both regulators (AIFC, NBRK).
Required Education and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Master’s degree, CPA, ACCA, or CFA qualification is an advantage.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4–5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
- Prior experience in financial management within a financial services or payments company is preferred.
- Proven expertise in budget management, financial reporting, and process automation.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and accounting standards (experience with AIFC and NBRK requirements is an advantage).
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Highly analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Efficient team player with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Confident communicator with clear expression of ideas in both speech and writing.
- Strong technical skills (Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI)
Language Skills:
- Advanced level of English (spoken and written) preferred; upper-intermediate is the minimum requirement.
- Fluent in Russian.
