Job Description

Position Key Goal

The Event Manager is responsible for managing the full event lifecycle for both external industry events and internal corporate initiatives that strengthen APS’s brand, support business development, and foster a strong internal culture.

The role combines two key functions: coordinating APS’s participation in global fintech industry events and organizing internal corporate events that enhance employee engagement. The Event Manager works closely with Sales, Business Development, and HR teams to plan, execute, and evaluate events, ensuring alignment with APS’s strategic objectives and delivering impactful results.

Key business processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Business Development, and HR teams to ensure events support business development goals and internal engagement initiatives.

Benchmarking & Industry Insights

  • Monitor and evaluate global industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and networking opportunities relevant to APS’s business. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding participation opportunities.

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Manage all stages of events — both external industry events and internal corporate activities — from concept development and planning to execution and coordination.

Budgeting & Resource Management

  • Plan and control event budgets, coordinate vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure high-quality event delivery.

Reporting & Evaluation

  • Evaluate event results, collect feedback, and prepare performance reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements.


Job Functions

External Events (Industry Conferences & Exhibitions)

  • Stay up to date with key industry events and emerging trends in fintech and digital assets.

  • Plan and manage APS participation in global fintech and blockchain events (conferences, summits, expos, private meetups), as well as targeted industry exhibitions and trade shows that provide opportunities to present and promote the company’s payment solutions to high-volume online merchants and partners.

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Business Development teams to ensure events support lead generation, partnership development, and brand visibility.

  • Coordinate the preparation of event-related materials (visual and physical), including booth design, presentations, handouts, content for the Company’s social media, as well as the development, production, and ordering of branded merchandise and gifts for partners and employees.

  • Travel to industry events and exhibitions, providing full on-site coordination and support, including booth setup supervision, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring smooth event execution.

Internal Corporate Events (HR & Employee Engagement)

  • Support the HR team in planning and managing internal corporate events, celebrations, and team-building activities from concept development to final execution.

  • Organize company holidays, internal celebrations, and initiatives that strengthen team engagement and company culture.

  • Coordinate employee and partner recognition initiatives, including birthday congratulations and holiday greetings.

  • Organize and manage the preparation and global delivery of gifts for employees and partners for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions.

  • Maintain a centralized calendar and database tracking important employee and partner dates to ensure timely congratulations and recognition.

Event Logistics & Vendor Management

  • Lead end-to-end event logistics including event agendas, venue coordination, contractor and supplier management, production setup, and on-site operations.

  • Liaise with external vendors, event organizers, venues, artists, entertainment providers, logistics partners, and other service providers.

  • Ensure all events are delivered turnkey, managing the entire process from concept to execution.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain and update a centralized event tracking database.

  • Manage event budgets, cost estimates, contracts, and invoices.

  • Collect feedback from participants, analyse event performance, and prepare post-event reports with recommendations for improvements.

  • Identify potential issues prior to events, communicate them to relevant teams, and ensure timely resolution.

  • Act as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication.

Required experience and background

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Business Development, Communications, or related fields. Or minimum 3 years of solid and proven experience as an Event Manager, Event Coordinator, Event Planner or holding a similar role.

  • Relevant experience in organizing various types of events (both international external and corporate internal).

  • Strong project management, organizational and communication skills.

  • Highly responsible and detail-oriented.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. .

  • Good working level of English ( both spoken and written). Additional languages are an advantage.

  • Flexibility to travel internationally as needed.

  • Experience working in IT companies, startups, fintech or web3 would be an advantage.
