Position Key Goal
Armenotech is looking for a Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Payment Orchestration Platform. In this role you will lead the development team day-to-day, own the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle, and be accountable for aligned sub-projects across Legal, Compliance, Business, and Marketing. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage complex fintech delivery, and ensure the successful, compliant, and timely launch of orchestration capabilities including payment execution, banking partners integrations, and transaction monitoring.
Job Functions
Project & Product Delivery
Own the end-to-end delivery of the Payment Orchestration Platform, from requirements gathering through production launch.
Define project scope, milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
Coordinate delivery across Development, QA, Product, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Business, and Marketing.
Monitor project execution and proactively resolve blockers.
Drive successful feature releases while maintaining delivery quality and timelines.
Maintain project documentation, implementation plans, and executive reporting.
Development Team Leadership
Lead the development team day-to-day: sprint planning, backlog prioritization, capacity planning, and delivery cadence.
Own technical delivery quality and code-release governance.
Provide direction, unblock the team, and be accountable for development output and velocity.
Balance technical debt, platform reliability, and new-feature delivery.
Cross-Departmental Sub-Project Accountability
Be accountable (RACI: Responsible/Accountable) for the coordination and successful delivery of sub-projects owned jointly with other departments. Maintain a clear RACI map and drive each workstream to closure ahead of platform go-live:
Legal: drive Terms & Conditions and contractual documentation development in step with feature releases.
Compliance: deliver KYB/KYC/KYT process tooling and monitoring dashboards; ensure regulatory readiness before each go-live.
Business: align platform capabilities with commercial pricing, client commitments, and strategic objectives.
Marketing: coordinate launch readiness, product positioning, and go-to-market timing.
Run steering syncs and provide consolidated status reporting across all stakeholder workstreams.
Orchestration & Payments Implementation
Coordinate API integrations with third-party providers.
Coordinate implementation and API integrations of new payment rails and banking integrations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable delivery plans.
Coordinate the development team throughout development and release cycles.
Collaborate with Compliance and Legal to ensure regulatory readiness.
Support Operations during production rollouts and incident resolution.
Align delivery priorities with commercial and strategic objectives.
Process Improvement
Improve project management methodologies and delivery processes.
Identify opportunities to increase implementation efficiency.
Develop best practices for project governance and cross-functional collaboration.
Track KPIs related to project delivery, implementation success, and platform performance.
Requirements
3+ years of Project Management experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure.
Experience with B2B products/ B2B SaaS/ financial technology products.
Knowledge of payment infrastructure and cross-border payments.
Understanding of wallet ledger architecture and transaction lifecycle.
Experience with SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, ACH, or local payment schemes.
Familiarity with EMIs, banking infrastructure, safeguarding, and settlement processes.
Understanding of treasury operations and liquidity management.
Experience coordinating API integrations.
Knowledge of AML/KYC onboarding processes.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and technical savvy.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional English and Russian languages (B2+ or higher).
