Reconciliation specialist position key goals
The primary objective of the reconciliation specialist position is to reinforce our financial team in response to the escalating demands of our rapidly expanding business.
Reconciliation specialist functions
- Perform day-to-day reconciliation management to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Regularly verify balances in both provider back offices (BO) and Stellar wallets. Initiate replenishment when shortfalls are identified.
- Conduct settlement calculations and generate Merchant reports.
- Compile and deliver monthly reports to merchants, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established reporting standards.
- Follow up compliance requirements relevant to the settlement process and new wallets confirmation process
- Oversee the chargeback process, including the analysis, resolution, and documentation of chargeback cases in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Facilitate the refund process by coordinating with relevant parties and ensuring proper documentation and compliance with refund policies.
- Monitor financial chat channels and engage with customers, delivering timely responses to their inquiries.
- Ensure the completion of all essential documentation pertaining to our processes.
Reconciliation specialist required experience and background
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in financial operations, accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
- Excel/Google Sheets advanced proficiency level.
- Strong written and verbal Russian and English.
